Himalayan Climbing rose mix colours Seeds

Himalayan Climbing Rose mix is a seed mix of cultivated climbing roses grown in Himalayan villages. The roses come in different colours and climb up to 5 m, so they suit a trellis, fence or wall.

Also known as: Himalayan climbing rose, Himalayan rose mix.

What the mix is

• Origin: seeds of Himalayan roses grown in villages, in cultivation.
• Habit: climbing, up to 5 m, with flexible canes for training.
• Colours: a mix of different colours; the mix does not say which seed gives which colour.

We do not name a species for this mix, and roses grown from seed can differ from their parents, so treat the description as general, not as a promise for every seedling.

Where to plant

Choose well-drained, fertile soil at pH 6.0–7.0 and a spot with at least 6 hours of direct sun a day.

Care through the year

• Water regularly so the soil stays moist but not waterlogged; mulch to hold moisture.
• Feed with a balanced fertiliser in early spring.
• Prune after flowering to remove dead or diseased wood and to shape the plant.

We have no sourced sowing temperature, pretreatment or germination time for these seeds and do not state any.
