How to Grow as Microgreens
- Use a clean shallow tray with drainage and fresh seed-starting or microgreen medium.
- Pre-moisten the medium, distribute the seeds evenly and press them into good surface contact. Cover only lightly.
- Keep evenly moist but not saturated. After emergence, provide bright light and good airflow.
- Cut above the medium with clean scissors when the cotyledons are open and well coloured. Sango is commonly harvested in roughly 10–15 days, but temperature, light and density affect timing.
Harvest and Use
Harvest only clean, healthy shoots. Rinse before serving and use promptly in salads, sandwiches, wraps or garnishes. Use clean trays, clean medium and potable water.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Purple Sango a root radish?
This product is identified as a microgreen selection. A particular mature root shape or colour is not promised.
Why are some seedlings greener?
Published variety references note colour variation within a sowing. Individual seedlings can remain partly green.
Should I use garden-row spacing?
No. For microgreens, sow in a clean tray; field-radish spacing is not appropriate for a dense young-shoot crop.
